It's 1946- one year since the war that shook Europe to its core and changed the very course of history. In a sleepy Polish village, the lives of those most afflicted are intertwined as they grapple with the horrors of the past, and look towards the hope of their future.
Told from the perspective of 'The Peddler-' an enigmatic young Roma man with his own troubled past -

Chosen One tells a story of hope, survival, and the power of community.
